First opened in August of 2008 as a multi-specialty clinic, the facility is now doubled in size to 144,000 square feet, thanks to the recent completion of a year-long construction effort. Geisinger Healthplex State College is the largest multi-specialty clinic in the Geisinger Health System. It now hosts expanded clinical areas for cardiology, GI/GI nutrition, bariatric, surgery, urology and pulmonology in its new wing. In addition, the first floor of the expansion features a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery and endoscopy center , plus pain therapy and pain procedure rooms.
