Established in 1967, Portland West is a community-based organization that servers low-income individuals and their families. The organization offers education, counseling, housing support and job training programs. It operates English as a Second Language Program that serves adult students from various countries, such as Somalia, Sudan, Burundi, Iraq, China, Brazil, Vietnam and Morocco.
