I love Marco's! We go there often and really enjoy the menu selections, specials, and the staff. They have good food and I actually disagree with the others who gave this restaurant 3-star ratings, because if you are going to go out for breakfast you probably aren't going to find some extremely lean home fries. But they do offer some heart-healthy items on their menu which are very tasty and healthy as well. I like the atmosphere and although it is a bit on the loud side, the energy of other diners having a great time does offer a good "buzz" in the morning. I would highly recommend Marco's!

This is a large restaurant is a busy part of Portland. parking can be a challenge at the weekend and a wait for a table, particularly at breakfast, is common. The menu is extensive with vegetarian choices. The quality of the food is good without being outstanding. A recent breakfast included greasy potatoes and a stodgy muffin.

Marco's is very popular with weekend breakfasters but is reliable for both lunch and dinner. Tables are well spaced and comfortable. Service is generally good although I've had one unpleasant waitress. The standard menu and daily specials offer plenty of choices, including vegetarian options. The cooking is satisfactory. Prices just seem too high ... $12 for a breakfast of Eggs Benedict is excessive.

Long-established with an interesting menu. Lots of dishes are unique to this restaurant. Everything I've had was high quality -- most tasted very good. Friendly service. The restaurant is too loud. ######They have tried to soften it with umbrellas from the ceiling, but that doesn't do enough. ######Some dishes are too greasy for my taste. But again -- most of their food is very good.
