Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Hurst Manufacturing Corporation has been an innovator in the development, production and application of precision motors. In 1984, Hurst became a division of Emerson Motor Technologies. Today, it joins its Emerson affiliates to combine technologies for the benefit of all customers. In the late 1950s, a line of intermediate-sized timing motors was introduced and during the next 20 years the company became established as a premier supplier of permanent magnet synchronous and stepper motors. In 1984, Hurst grew into a leading producer of sub-fractional motors. Hurst Manufacturing Corporation maintains a location in Princeton, Ind.
