I have macular degeneration in one eye. Dr. Grabowski has been treating me for three years. I truly appreciate him because I had a previous experience with another retinologist before I found him. I dreaded seeing the previous doctor because his shots were very painful, he ignored my insistence that he tell me what he was doing, and a visit to him took at least two hours and the rest of the day to get over it. Dr. Grabowski is very concerned about my needs and happy to oblige putting a contact in before the shot and tilting the chair back to relax me. I can hardly feel the shots he gives me. He sees me within 15 minutes being there. I have no pain afterward and I'm never there longer than forty-five minutes. He has also done cataract surgery on me and that was also painless and easy. I think he is a skillful, thoughtful doctor. He has an affable personality. I have recommended him to many people.
