I just wanted to put in a good word for the male life guard at the YMCA on March 27th 2009. This was the night that youth groups were at the YMCA for an all nighter. During the 15+ girls swim time I got into the water a little to deep with out knowing it. I can not swim so I was stuck with the water going over my head and in my mouth. I waved my arms and the male life guard was quick and jumped right up and threw in his life saving rope thing and pulled me in. He then asked me if there was anything he could do and offered me water. I sat down next to 2 other life guards and during the rest of our swim time he came and checked on me a couple of other times just to make sure I was ok. I dont know his name, but he was a life saver and I just want to thank him for what he did. I can not say thanks enough. He truly was an angel that night and I will ALLWAYS remember him for his heroic actions and quick thinking.
