I found D & D on a saturday morning and, much to my surprise, they were open. The other places I phoned were all closed. He told me to bring it right over and said he'd take a look...- no charge for that. So, I took it there to his place and he scanned it for me and found a lot of viruses. He explained how I might have gotten the viruses and that my "free" anti-virus probably just wasn't catching them all. He told me that he could remove them and see if the system comes up ok...but if it didn't...then Windows would need to be reloaded....and it did. I spent several hours there with Mr. Race reinstalling Windows, the drivers, the updates and transferring my files back to my system after that. Honestly, I was a little concerned about what this was going to cost me because he put so much time into it....but he was all done...it was $ 65.00. I'll tell you....for the convenience, friendliness, and serice I got...you can't do any better than that!
