I hired him to defend my father in a dispute. I was completely left out from any information until something needed to get paid. My father felt there was two lawyers against him in the dispute. I will never recommend him to anyone as a lawyer. He is nice guy though.

I agree with Southern B. my experience was the same. Mr. Spencer is very charming until he has your retainer, then he will go thru it very fast. If you question anything! , you will soon think he`s working for the opposition, sad but true.

If I could give less than one star, I would choose to do that! This man is a terrible lawyer- you would be better off representing yourself than spending your hard earned money on this man! First of all, he's ancient, and really doesn't care about his practice or his clients anymore, which is apparent when you walk in his office and it's falling down around you. Secondly, he won't remember who you are when you walk in the office, and his assistant will have to go in his office before you and remind him about what your case is about. Third, he'll charge you a large flat fee for his terrible services, and then within a couple weeks, you'll start getting bills from his office for his billable hours! He's happy to take your money, but his assistant does all the work on his cases, and he may or may not remember to show up at court for your case. If you want a good attorney who cares about your case, remembers all the deadlines, and is a passionate fighter for your legal battle- it's not this guy!
