After coming home from a 12-hour shift, I found the house completely filled with smoke and a fire burning in the basement. When the fire had been put out, it was determined by the insurance company that the house contents had to be taken out, cleaned and the house gutted and rebuilt. After asking around and with a recommendation from the insurance company I decided to go with Service Master to do both the clean out and the rebuild. Within an hour, Grace from Service Master arrived and got things moving, explaining to me the whole procedure. She was kind, considerate and compassionate.
John was the general contractor in charge of the rebuild. The work was done with quality and he had a lot of money saving ideas as well as ideas for upgrades while the opportunity was there. He kept the construction moving forward at a good pace.
Everyone that was on the clean out, reconstruction and move back did great work. They all were conscientious and worked hard. The gutting of the house was especially hard and dirty work, but I did not hear one single complaint. They got in there and did what needed to be done.
If you are ever in the unfortunate situation where you need this type of work done, I would highly recommend this company.
