Old Style Breakfast

If you love old style greasy breakfast food this is the best place to go in Red Lodge. Its very resonable cost wise and good food! The service isnt always all that friendly or quick. But its just simple cafe with cafe food! Has cool log tables and chairs and big paintings!

Good Breakfast

I went to Red Lodge Cafe on a Thursday morning. The building is very old, but they tables were made out of log furniture, and there were huge paintings of the area hanging. I ordered two scrambled eggs, hasbrowns, and a biscuit. The eggs were fine, and the hasbrowns were crispy and hot- just they way I like them. They were on the greasy side, but that is what makes them crispy. The homemade biscuit was nothing to rave about. Service was good and the dining area clean. My order was about $7. There were two downsides to this restaurant though. They do not offer healthy menu items such as skim milk (they only have whole) and do not offer egg subsitutes/EggBeaters (only whole eggs). So if you have special dietary needs, this would not be a good place for you. But if you like just a basic breakfast, this would be the place to go to in Red Lodge. I would probably go back, since the other breakfast restaurants I tried were not good (example is Regis Cafe).
