Established in 1923, the Overseas Automotive Council, also known as OAC, is one of the oldest organizations in the world. It has more than 350 domestic and international members, including import executives, parts manufacturers, freight forwarders, distributors and manufacturer s sales representatives. The organization provides the monthly Global Report electronic newsletter, which provides information about the plans, expansions and changes in government policy and regulatory issues. The Overseas Automotive Council conducts a range of market research programs and international trade shows. In addition, its affiliates include Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association, Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association, Original Equipment Suppliers Association and MEMA Financial Services Group.
