I would strongly caution anyone against signing a lease at this apartment complex. The property manager will find any small reason to give you a notice of infraction, whether it is warranted or not. The lease is extremely convoluted so that the property manager can find any small reason to monitor your behavior. For example, in the lease it states that you may not use candles in your unit without written consent from the office. The maintenance are used as the property manager's watch dogs. When they come into your apartment to change the air filter or spray for pests, they look for what you might be doing wrong rather than seeing the terrible condition of the carpet, flooring, outdated appliances, etc. When they tell you they will fix something, they may or may not come actually do it. The facilities are in terrible shape and blamed on the fact that the owners of the property only allow certain changes to be made for financial reasons.

Research before you move in. Yea the price may be less compared to others but unless you want to live next door to felons, drug dealers, and loud fighting from neighbors pay more. Background check is suppose to be done but not sure what type they are doing or one at all. If you are questioning my eating ride through at night or just ask around. Was happy I did before I moved in. By asking around I found that the apt I was moving into or had looked at rather, the neighboring apt had a gentleman living there with an extensive background from burglary, high aggravated assault on a woman, to manufacturing meth. Just beware!
