Mr. Barraza is a Criminal Defense and Immigration attorney at Barraza Law, APC. He handles all types of criminal defense cases, with a specialty in defending those with mental health diagnoses, veterans, and non-citizens. With respect to immigration, he helps individuals navigate through our complex and ever-changing immigration system. He represents individuals seeking lawful status through family petitions, u-visa, special immigrant juvenile status, post-conviction relief, and other avenues. And, defending non-citizens seeking asylum and/or other statutory relief in removal proceedings. Mr. Barraza grew up in Anaheim, CA. He is an avid Angels fan. Alejandro earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology, Law, and Society from the University of California, Irvine. He earned his law degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2016. Mr. Barraza has been an active member in the RCBA since his first days as a young attorney. He has been on multiple Barrister’s Boards and is currently on this year’s Barrister’s Board. In addition, Mr. Barraza has been on multiple Asian Pacific American Lawyers of the Inland Empire (APALIE). Also, he is currently on treasurer of the Hispanic Bar of the Inland Empire (HBAIE). The HBAIE is newly founded and is doing amazing things in our community. Finally, Mr. Barraza is part of the Riverside County Project Graduate Program, and RCBA Board of Directors.
