EmailMorelite was originally started in 1945 by Frank Fish in Salt lake city, Utah. Frank became ill and passed away in 1959. His daughter Maurine Strektenfinger, who had worked in her father's shop From the time she was a child, started the family business up again in 1972. There are only two people who handcraft these lampshades, Maurine, and her daughter Julie. Our lampshades are in many homes, businesses, and several LDS temples around the world. We have also made lampshades for movie sets.
