Provided by YPmobileHad an account with them in my name since I was 6 months old...had over 100k in my savings,a credit score of over 750, no other debt, and went to ask about a home loan. They gave me a preapproval letter for a 165k loan. Went back 2 weeks later, after putting in an offer on a house and asked for a 110k loan (50k downpayment), told me they couldn't do it because I had only been at my current job 18 months. However I was in school prior (and was working as well)... and if that was the issue, then don't give people preapproval. Went across the street to Marathon Savings Bank, and got the loan no problem... and at a lower rate too. Get it together River Valley.
