Disappointed. I had a plumbing issue that needed to be fixed, basically a leaky pipe. I old guy came out and made an assessment and gave me a price and told me he was going to come Saturday morning, so we booked an exact time. The guy never showed or even returned my calls. Yeah I was upset cause this was a rental house so he wasted a lot of people's time.

I would never call them again. be weary folks

My third time using Nelson and another great experience. On time as promised and they did a great job at a reasonable price. My service guy Jeremy was great and will ask for him next time I need service.

Do not use this company. I was charged $325.00 to unclog a drain. Four days later it was clogged again. When I called, they were not in any hurry to correct the problem and wanted to charge me $200.00 more to run a camera and then charge me more after they came up with a new solution. The man that I spoke to was extremely rude and condescending. I was told that a plumber would show up and they never did. He told me that the owner would call, but did not. I finally called her and she was nice but would not resolve the problem satisfactorily. By the time she called it was the end of the day after 2 days of a reclogged drain and was going to charge me another $275.00 to snake my drain.

I have used Nelson Brothers twice. I highly recommend them. First, they fixed a basement flooding problem and then I used them for a new hot water heater. Hot water heater failed on a Friday night, they were there early Saturday morning. They came out the same day for the basement problem. I experienced two different plumbers from the company, both who were professional, courteous, and explained the work they were doing as it was being done.



Do NOT confuse this company with another similarly-named company in Royal Oak. Call Nelson BROTHERS Plumbing.

I used to be a big fan of Nelson Bros. We had a house in Ferndale and they are who we used. They showed up, reasonably priced, etc. We now live in Bloomfield and I called they were going to come over the next day! Great! Well, they didn't. I called and got the "oh your next he's just running behind". Then 2.5hours after the 11am-2pm window they gave me and found he still was running late. I don't know if this has something to do with location but for whatever reason, nobody showed and that's a day of mine wasted. I won't be using them again.

Thanks very much for all your help with getting the leak fixed, coordinating details, etc. I have had a fabulous experience with Nelson Bros. - thanks to you. Thank you for your top notch attention to details and superior customer service focus. (Make sure your boss sees this).

I called Nelson Bros. to clean my drain. I was frantic because I had family comming for the weekend but the office staff put me completely at ease. A plumber arrived shortly and was able to solve the problem quickly. He laid down plastic, wore booties, and placed his machine on a special surface to protect his work area from dirt and debris. If I had not been home, I would not have known he was even there! When he presented the bill I was pleasantly suprised. The price was extremely fair especially for the excellent service I received. I will be sure to call Nelson Bros. for all future plumbing needs!

After speaking with several plumbing companies I hired Nelson Bros. to fix my leaky faucet. Their office staff was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The service technician arrived in a timely manner and was also professional, knoweldgeable and respectful. He took care to protect his workspace from debris and not only fixed my problem quickly but cleaned up any mess that was created. Upon completion of his work he took time to communicate his repair and demonstrated his effectiveness. He answered all my questions and offered some helpful suggestions. I was blown away by the whole experience. I will be sure to reccommend Nelson Bros. to all my family and friends and will only use Nelson Bros. for any future plumbing issues!

What a great company! They came out very quickly, and their staff was friendly, professional and worked very quickly. I can see why they have been in business for over 80 years. Anyone that needs a good, quality, honest and hard working plumber, Nelson Brothers is the company to call!

I had used them for one other job this year and decided to give them my business again. Made an appt and sat home for the 2 hour window they said they would show up during. They never showed and never called. I then receive a call 1.5 hours past the window time askign if they could come now. I asked why they didnt show or call, and they said they called and a child answered my phone and told them to come later. First of all, I dont have a child, second, if we made an appt tim they should have come at that time, and third, why would they take advice or direction from a child even if I did have one? I was pretty disapointed by the excuse and asked if i could speak to the owner, and he said NO! I could not believe it. I was so surprised by all of this I will never call them again. Poor and ridiculous customer service.
