Well this is a story of how their salespeople used what I call. " predatory sales techniques on senior citizens". On April 3rd, 2019 my 72 year old wife and myself being 64 went to the dealership to ask some questions about turning in my leased RAV4, We needed to know our options and if their were any lease promotions going on. We ended up speaking with Cory Wagner,, Once he looked at our vehicle and the lease date he said we were eligible to trade it in now since we were in the last 90 days of our lease. Since we had leased two vehicles for the previous 5 years we were considered "LOYALTY CUSTOMERS ", which made us eligible for a discount. My lease vehicle also had accrued value of $ 172.00 which would also go towards a new vehicle. Now the vehicle i was returning had some minor damage but Cory said since it only had 23000 miles it was not a big deal, They showed a new RAV4 which was an all new design, we liked it and then they started figuring some pricing with the sales managers. My wife and i were pretty excited as with the LEASE PROMOTION, our $ 172.00 equity and being a LOYAL CUST0MER we might be driving a new car home. Well after some negotiating we settled on $ 5000.00 down and $ 249.00 a month. So we drove home in that new car but i had some doubts about the pricing we had received. Drove from Ogden to St George to buy a 2005 Saab, beautiful car. My salesman was Cross..quite friendly.



Picked up the car..took almost two hours to close the deal, only one business agent. Ready to leave only one headlight and no license plate lights. The owner J Wade came out and juggled the headlight.."Don't touch it...Service was closed. Had to stop driving at dark, left headlight pointing to 10 and the right pointing down.



Made an appointment with Saab..both light bulbs had to be replaced and aligned, wipers and window tint was Way to Dark. Had the UHP come check it out " Should not have passed Inspection" I had to remove the tint to be legal...never was given a copy of the inspection., I had to get one from Utah.....it was "Pencil whipped" at SW Toyota



Finally UHP today, nothing but excuses...tried to make it be my fault "Bought as is", yes I did but SW Toyota flat out lied about the inspection...I fixed 5 items $$$$$. Any other items were on me and I realize that.



Salesman "Cross" would not answer emails, on hold for forever at other extensions..impossible to get anyone to answer their phone.



Be careful shopping there and remember J. Wade and Cross if you go there....no stars given here. Also plan on a comment on YP (Yellow pages)



Quite disgusted with this dealer, salesman UHP, DO NOT PURCHASE "THEFT INSURANCE", READ THE SMALL PRINT

Bought a new 2014 Camaro Stephen Wade Chevrolet and included the rally stripe package as part of the sale. The stripes were crooked and needed to be removed and reinstalled. The General Sales Manager (GSM) wasn't very interested in helping, after putting me off for two weeks he just wanted to refund what I paid for them and wasn't interested in correcting the issue. I don't want my money back I want the stripes! I ended up having to resolve it myself and convince the GSM to issue a PO to a local shop. One other thing, they have this antitheft program they call AutoShield. Apparently it's window etching and a policy, really I think it's a rip-off and they charge $300-$500 for this and no option to decline. I asked for some kind of documentation and they gave me nothing. Very unhappy with my buying experience with these guys and I will never buy anything from them again.
