Lafayette High School, founded in 1917, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as agriculture, business, English, family and consumer science, foreign languages, special education and mathematics. The school s subjects also include science, social studies, technology, and health and physical education. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include band, drama, chorus, orchestra, a student council and yearbook. It provides a variety of sports activities that include wrestling, baseball, golf, soccer, lacrosse, swimming, cheerleading, basketball, cross country and softball. It has a library and computer room with Internet access facility. The school is a part of the St. Joseph School District and is a located in St. Joseph, Mo.
