I started going to this clinic during a rough time in my life. During my second therapy appointment, the therapist demanded that I start on intense medication for a condition that I hadn't been previously diagnosed with. When I refused the medication, he said it wasn't optional, and that he and another provider would decide on my dosage, saying t he would go over my head in regards to my treatment. When I complained to his supervisor, I was informed that all therapists and doctors that work at Psych Recovery operate as independent agents, and that what I experienced with their clinic was appropriate. Psych Recovery violated my trust and caused me immense grief.
