Local family-owned mom&pop business. We've eaten here for yrs and love the food and friendliness. When I travel to Northern VA to visit my daughter and granddaughters I have to take Giovanni's to them!

We have been a fan of the parent restaurant , East Side Pizza, in Portsmouth. We were so disappointed in this new off-shoot eatery. We found the food to be sub-par. The spaghetti sauce was like they opened a can of diced tomatoes and poured it on noodles, which had been water soaked so long that they were enlarged. The Ziti was served cool and the ricotta cheese had started separating. East Side, was so much better, in every way. We found "Giovanni's" to be pretentious and poor food prep.
