Dr. Gonzalez-Abello specializes in pediatric medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. She sees patients at the hospital’s Outpatient Care Center in Sarasota. She joined the hospital staff in 2025. She has been practicing as a general pediatrician throughout west central Florida for over 25 years, most recently with CenterPlace Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Sarasota, where she was also chief medical officer. Her clinical interests include asthma, obesity, ADHD, autism, developmental delays and medical missionary work. Dr. Gonzalez-Abello earned her medical degree from the University of Miami. She completed her residency at the University of South Florida/Tampa General Hospital. She also earned a Master of Science in biomedical engineering from the University of Miami. She speaks English and Spanish.
