After living here for a long time I experienced the good and the worst.
The apartment complex is no longer called Edgewater trace apartments but Ascend at Savannah. When I moved from Florida to attend college here in Savannah I was hoping for an all around great experience throughout my time living here, Although I expected it to be that way but it did not last. It feels like each manager they get one turns out to be able to work with you and others just ready to move you out.
If you have section 8 look some where else because they will no longer accept it starting this year. My lease is up in April so I must find another place to stay.

I would not recommend you stay here if you do not have kids. Children from other apartments come to sit on the stairs and play their music entirely too loud to all hours of the morning. Good luck trying to reach the courtesy officer if you have a real problem as I have called twice and was unable to reach him. Management is rude, unprofessional and not willing to admit when they are wrong. No matter what you are looking for I can assure you this place is not it.

First of all the walls are so thin I can hear ppl walking and talking and every time they open or close a door and I live on the second floor. There's a lot of ppl that do drugs that lives here. How do I know cause I can smell the weed it smells like they're sitting in my living room smoking it. There's always someone driving around late at night playing loud music. You can hear ppl dogs braking no one cleans up after there's dogs and for some reason there's a lot of cats running around. Unless you want no sleep and ur kids running around high I would live here. I learned the hard was about edgewater apartment on abercorn you don't have too.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here. I stayed here for 13 months and during the summer, the a/c barely worked during the day because the buildings are so old. The windows are very old also so if it naturally cracks on its on while you are there, they are going to make you pay for the damages as we had to. We had two bedrooms and the one we only put storage into just starting cracking and when I noticed the condition of the window, it was so old they're was already cracking around the edges. NOW THE FINALE, if you have a EXPENSIVE CAR, RIMS, NICE STEREO, ETC.!!!!!!! THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!!!! OUR CAR WAS BROKEN INTO TWICE ON THE SAME EXACT WEEKEND, MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!! The first time, they stole, our stereo, ipod, and gps system! The second time they set the car alarm off and ran without the stereo. DO NOT LIVE HERE OR THE SURROUNDING APARTMENTS BY THIS AREA IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CAR TO GET BROKEN INTO!!!! The only place I would recommend is SPANISH VILLA APARTMENTS! We stayed there for a year and LOVED IT!!!!!!

Completely unprofessional business. The were rude, unprofessional, and are not willing to resolve issues. Staff are sarcastic, and they enter your home whenever they like, regardless of situation. I highly do not recommend this place for residency.
