We love coming to Love's. The food is excellent, portions more than fair, and prices are reasonable. The waitstaff is the most courteous and prompt. Love's has the very best salads in all of savannah- fresh crisp and cold.

Ate here this evening (1/24/16) and was pleasantly surprised. We picked Love's off the internet having never been there. Don't let the size fool you, it looks small and there were a lot of cars parked but the place is actually really big. We had a table by the windows overlooking the lake which was pretty. The salad is pretty good with real chunks of bacon not bacon bits. I had the surf and turf with NY Strip, and Grilled Shrimp. it also comes with mashed potatoes, green beans, and two bread sticks. The NY Strip was cooked perfectly(medium rare) and was delicious. The mashed potatoes were some of the best I've ever had. My friend ordered a Ribeye steak that came with mashed potatoes, green beans and bread sticks. He said the steak was excellent. Both of us said the portions were really big, but worth it. Our server, Hattie was a doll as well. Would go back again.

seafood restaurant that is very casual. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. We both had shrimp and scallops last night. The large juicy Georgia white shrimp were delicious as well as the sweet scallops. Substitutions to side items are not an issue. The service was very good for a busy Friday night. Don't be put off if there is a line, the place is huge and tables move pretty quick. Check for specials, they offer AYCE shrimp nights, catfish nights and may still offer snow crab nights.

Both of us said the portions were really big, but worth it. Our server, Hattie was a doll as well. Would go back again.

I have eaten at Loves since I was a child. The best fried shrimp ever! Everything else is delicious as well.

The evening was enjoyable. The food was good- Scored Flounder and grilled catfish- served nicely by our waiter Robert. Robert's attention to detail made this a fine experience.

What a great place! Very busy water side restaurant. The service was excellent. Seafood Gumbo was delicious. It was late at night when we arrived so we decided on light meals. A bowl of gumbo was a great choice.

We thoroughly enjoyed the blackened Mahi Mahi, Grouper with lumpcrab, & Bubba Gump Shrimp. Everything was outstanding!!! Great atmosphere!!! Highly recommend this restaurant!!

We came across this rest. while camping at Fort McAllister State Park. The rest. was awesome. Great service and the food was really good. I loved having my own picture of drinks at our table also. I wished all rest. did this. We had a really good view of the river from our table. We were lucky to get a window seat. But the way the rest was laid out, I think alot of tables could see the view of the water. Walked down to the water front. It was a very nice place. Would love to eat here again.

Atmosphere was very nice, wait staff was friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to send others your way. Good food

Best Hush Puppies we've ever had! excellent shrimp and the mushrooms were perfect. I'll definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Ate birthday dinner here recently. Love the setting and the crab stuffed flounder was amazing!!! Beer was also cold and service was great.

A few friends and I decided to have a change of scenery and we drove to Love's where we had some very good seafood. Our server was quite good and was knowledgeable about the menu. Each of us opted for different items and all enjoyed their choices. One of my friends ordered a side salad and it was huge. She ended up full before her dinner arrived so other than taste her meal she took it home in a box. Had she realized how large it was she probably would have opted for an appetizer to go with the salad. I also ordered onion rings for the table to share and they had a good flavor but were quite pale in color; I think they could have used some more time in the fryer to allow the outside to brown. Three of us came home bearing to go boxes as the portions were really large.

My Cousins Took Us To This Little Place. It was wonderful. The food was great. the atmosphere was nice and quaint.

Anyone within reasonable traveling distance will miss some of the greatest seafood tastes in the entire state of Georgia if they pass this restaurant by. With the seafood platter, I had a hard time choosing which item to eat next from the shrimp, oysters, catfish, scallops, crab ball, and hush puppies. It was SUPERB! Every item was cooked to perfection as if they had been prepared and cooked individually with their own seasonings, batter, and cooking oil. The coleslaw is the Southern recipe, which has a spicy bite, and not overdone with mayonnaise. The restaurant location and setting is first class also. This was my first visit, and I shall return as soon as possible for my next dining festival. If I lived closer, I would be eating here several times a week. A rare find, and I'm extremely thankful that the owners and management have taken the care required to maintain such quality food.

Loves Seafood is a great seafood place on the Ogeechee River. Perfect for families, dates, events and business meetings. Servers do a great job! Very clean restaurant with beautiful surroundings.

I enjoy crab legs but they must be cooked just right and have to be fresh. Love's did everything right and the price was right. The special was all you can eat crab legs and the price was fair. Some places say its all you can eat, but drag their feet when you want more. Love's kept them coming without fail and they were absolutely delicious!

Our family has been going to Love's for years for the wonderful food they serve. They always seem to have the best staff. Even though they get busy they still seem to try their best to get food out as quick as possible. I know I can trust Love's Seafood to always have friendly staff and excellent food. And the view of the river is just well AWESOME. It makes you feel like an old country house evening out.

Came for my birthday dinner during our vacation. Found on Google. Very easy to find as a tourist. The view from the sun room is very beautiful and intimate. Pricing is very reasonable with large amounts of food. Food came quick. And to too off my dinner desert came with birthday wishes from the staff! Overall fantastic restaurant!
