Arpan Patel, MD, is a Fellowship Trained Interventional Pain Physician and Double Board Certified in Anesthesia and Pain Management. He is one the Directors of the Pain Management Center at MacNeal Hospital. Dr. Patel specializes in the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of all pain conditions. His particular interests include: regenerative medicine with platelet-rich plasma and stem cell therapy, back and neck pain, complex regional pain syndrome, peripheral and central neuromodulation, vertebral compression fractures/osteoporosis, and headaches. He has presented on various pain topics nationally and internationally. Dr. Patel has been involved in a number of clinical research trials with the intent of discovering new treatments for painful conditions such as back pain, osteoarthritis and complex regional pain syndrome. As one of the co-founders of Premier Pain & Spine, Dr. Arpan Patel’s mission coincides with that of the other providers in his group. He strives to provide compassionate, innovative, and comprehensive care. He recognizes that pain medicine involves a multi-disciplinary approach. As a result, he believes that coordination-of-care and communication between involved physicians is essential. Furthermore, he believes that this dedication is the foundation for excellent patient outcomes.
