About the President and General Manager Jan Huck was born and raised on a feedyard-farm in Lyons, Kansas. In 1972 Jan graduated from Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. and continued on with graduate work at Wichita State University. Jan and husband, Rick ( co-owner ) moved to Scott City, KS and raised three daughters. Jan founded PlainJan's FeedlotServices in 1987 offering only a very basic BIOLOGICAL FLY CONTROL PROGRAM and 1 employee servicing 25 feedyards in central and western Kansas. Many of these original feedyards are PlainJan business partners today. In 1989 Jan added both a Rat & Mouse control and a Weed control program, began offering 3-service true INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT programs. Currently PlainJan's is the nation's largest commercial livestock pest control company with over 100 accounts throughout a six state target area. Jan Huck and PlainJan's are the experts many of the world's largest livestock feeding companies hire when they need professional pest control service. But for PlainJan's STAFF, evidentally it's not...they've got to BAND together and play & sing for FUN and for American Cancer Society DONATIONS: Western Swing, Blue Grass, Irish, Gospel, Polka and whatever music style intersts these NOVICE musicians on any given Friday afternoon.
