The Washington Community Action Network, also known as Washington CAN!, is a grassroots lobbying organization that works to achieve economic fairness. With more than 30,000 members, it is one of the largest consumer advocacy groups in the Washington. The organization focuses on increasing citizen participation in economic and political decision making. The Washington Community Action Network works in collaboration with various labor, church, senior citizen, minority and community groups. It specializes in a variety of issues related to health care, immigration, education, and social and economic justice. The Washington Community Action Network is a member of the Northwest Federation of Community Organizations (NWFCO), Jobs with Justice (JWJ) and USAction.
