Dr. Kane is a gruff "Dr. House" type doctor That is OK but I called to get a facet injection and mistakenly said I need a epidural injection. I had received facet injections after a MRI and discussion with Dr. Kane that that is what I needed, and had had then prior to this visit. When I went to the facility the woman who checked me in said I was to get what I had last time "Facet injections" . When I was on the table Dr. Kane called a " time out" and said He was giving me an epidural. I said NO that is not right, He went right ahead and gave the epidural. I still couldn't believe it, and ask if there was another injection? He said no you are through you got your epidural. Needless to say I was upset and when I was in the recovery area I tried to talk to him and he walked out on me. When a pain doctor can't talk to a patient who is in pain he has a problem!
