You have to keep in mind that if the business is dead, then staying open that extra 15 or 20 minutes is pointless and a waste of money. They have to pay the employees for that extra time, plus the electricity it costs to continue to run everything. And while the employess may have still been inside, once the ice cream machines are turned off, you cant make another ice cream cone. As for the way they treated you, I have been there many times, and I cant imagine any of the workers there saying something such as that to an potential customer.

The workers are very friendly and are very eager to assist you. They also have a carport in the back which is very convenient. The prices are reasonable and the food is wonderful. They have a wide variety of food and ice cream. I would recommend Dairy Barn to everyone in the area and those just passing through.

Called them at 9:10pm ask how late they were opened...was told 10:00pm...so drove the grandkids there from Mayville, about 35 miles, we got there at 9:47 the lights were off but could see the workers in there, called from the parking lot ask if they were opened till 10:00pm, were told they were, told them we were in the parking lot...they said "so we are closed and hung up the phone...chris crandall mayville mich
