Unless you're hunting for clothes or mismatched dishes there isn't much of anything you can find at a Goodwill these days. Apparently they send off any of their real valuables to be auctioned off on their website, leaving literal junk cluttering the aisles/shelves. Goodwill used to be great if you lowered your standards just a hair, but now you've got to let your standards completely bottom out (or leave empt handed). I'm not usually one to hate on a store, but all that I've mentioned combined with their poorly-trained staff, store price inconsistency and just general gross/dirty store appearance has made Goodwill a no-go for me.

I watched a store employee Racially profile a black woman when she picked up a vera Bradley bag. I watched the woman approach cashier and tell him to watch the "Black Lady" to
Make sure she did not switch tags. When the woman overheard her say it she was obviously offended and Demanded a manager. The employee continued to argue why she did what she did only when my Husband and I confirmed what the employee said about the "Black" woman did she apologize. The manager escorted the employee from area to office but did not apologize to anyone only the young cashier who was equally humiliated by their coworkers behavior. They were shocked that the manager @Dan never apologized for the situation". I will never shop there again!
