The fried green beans are delicious and always hot! The wait staff is fast, attentive, and are always moving! Highly recommend for good burgers, bar food, and bloody marys!!

Will not go back. Had 4 people trying to be our waitress and only one was pleasant, and knew what she was doing. Took about 40 to 45 minutes to get our food. The food was cold, not lukewarm but cold. Wanted to only tip the one waitress that actually did all the work, who was great, and pleasant. She made us smile. The others made us want to leave. They made her split the tip. Worst experience ever!!

Questionable management

I like going to the Pony...most of the time.

Pros: Great atmosphere, pretty waitresses, love the outdoor deck, nice selection of beers, and it is non-smoking!

Cons: Have stood at the door for up to 10 minutes without anyone even acknowledging my presence. I know the manager/owner saw me standing there but I finally walked off and went to another restaurant down the street. I have had to wait and wait to be served while i watched several of the waitresses simply chatting behind the bar. I had a seat at the bar where I could watch the cooks once and watched as they set the uncooked food (bags of french frys, frozen chicken, & onion rings) on the floor next to the garbage! I cancelled my food order and won't eat again.

Overall impression: The Pony has the makings for a great restaurant/bar but the management is not right. Poor service, unclean cooking conditions, and a staff that just doesn't seem to care...it puts me off. I think the Pony is successful because there isn't any real competition. The entry of a well run bar/grill with quality service, food and a similar atmosphere would really hurt the Pony's business. I would recommend Sanfords Pub on main or Olivers as an alternative. If you only want to drink, then go to Willey's...it is smoke free as well.

The Place to be in Sheridan

The pony has always had frosty adult beverages, but now has a great deck with great food to go with it. The perfect place to spend a summer afternoon!
