Provided by YP.comThis site is out of business. I had traded some games and such in there, and had, unfortunately, misplaced the receipts. I went back into the store, and the "helpful" folks in there gave me a form to fill out, and told me that they would forward it on to the warehouse, and have them dig through receipts to see if they could find my $100 in credit. I hadn't heard for a while, so went back to the store only to find it abandoned with signs saying they had moved to Steelyard Commons. I contacted the Willoughby store to get a number for their headquarters. I was given that number only to talk to a gentleman who claimed that he knew nothing about this form I was given to try to recover my lost credit. This is some quality customer service. Someone is lying to me. I'm not sure if it's the clerks at the Solon store, or the gentleman I talked to at the "headquarters". I wouldn't recommend going to one of these stores.

Provided by YP.comUnfortunately, I saw a similar exchange that bmbrandx did in regards to selling items for trade-in value. Another guy came into the store when I did, he had stuff to trade, I did not. I spent about 10 minutes in the store before getting in line to pay for my item. There were only 2 people working at the counter and the line to check out was getting longer. Meanwhile, nobody had even taken the other guy's name yet, or looked at any of his stuff. He had about a dozen items. After one of the clerks finished ringing out a customer, he was going to help the guy with trades, but the manager told him not to. When the clerk said, "But he's been waiting for a long time", the manager said, "I don't care, trades get last preference, he can stand there all day." Wow, I was shocked to hear him talk about a customer like that RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM!! If I was him, I would have picked my trades up and left. I understand the line was getting long, and that they were shorthanded staff. And that may be their internal policy regarding trade customers, but he really should have kept that kind of talk for behind closed doors. I still give the store 3 stars because they have a good selection and good prices. The service could use some work, though.

Provided by YP.comHorrible experience. I went in to trade around 150 DVD's to an exchange store who is in business because of people trading in stuff they had purchased. One of the employees behind the counter was clearly annoyed that I brought in a box full of DVD's around 4:30pm and it would take "hours" to sort through them. When I came back to finalize the trade ins I heard clearly the same employee complaining about how miserable closing was going to be because of the trade ins. They need to realize they are in business and have jobs because of people like me and everyone else who trades in items to their store, and that it is NEVER appropriate to complain about your job in front of a customer. And this is coming from someone who has worked in retail and have had very similar situations.
Take your stuff to Half Priced Books in Mayfield, they offered me the exact same trade in value and were extremely happy and accommodating to ANYONE bringing in massive boxes of books or DVD's for trade in.
