Christopher Dewing, M.D., joined the Rockwood Sports Medicine and Orthopedics Center in July 2015. He received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from Columbia University in New York, NY. Dr. Dewing is also a Commander in the United States Navy, currently serving in the Select Reserves. After completing an internship in general surgery, he spent two years as a Battalion Surgeon with Marine infantry units and was deployed to Iraq at the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He then completed his orthopedic residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA, and studied sports medicine and hip arthroscopy at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO.
