August is Child Support Awareness Month, a time to recognize the importance of child support in the development and well-being of thousands of children in Washington state. This years celebration coincides with an important milestone: the 50th anniversary of the passage of Title IV-D of the Social Security Act, which established our nations child support program and created a framework to ensure that children receive the financial and medical support they deserve.
