I can't say enough good about Dr. McDonald. He is professional, and courteous, and talented, and practical in his healthcare. He has been on the board of dentists in OH for a number of years. He is never in too much of a hurry to carefully explain procedures. He uses the latest technology including digital x-rays reducing radiation exposure and ultrasound for cleaning. He treats his fellow staff and employees with respect. I was without insurance for a time, and he was not reluctant to care for me during that time, working with me financially to provide good care for me. The staff at Dr. McDonald's office are equally talented and courteous. They are able to work with hypersensitive children, as well as adults. I have a severe gag reflex that has caused me much distress and embarrasement. Other dentists and staff have not been so kind about it. Dr. McDonald's staff are not only kind, but skillful in preventing difficulty for me. Injections are accomplished with the most minimal discomfort using methods that take longer but are more comfortable for the patients by numbing the area first with a topical agent, and then by a small superficial injection where the needle will be inserted, then in the deeper tissues. His repairs are clean and effective and long lasting. These are all the things one would want in a dentist. Definitely worth the trip to Springboro from Dayton!
