Provided by YP.comBest beds in town! The staff is very knowledgable about every aspect of tanning, and the store is immaculate. They have the newest beds, and will explain the difference between each level of bed they have. I get compliments on my tan at least once a week. Thanks Palm Beach!

Provided by YP.comI am very happy with my tanning membership at The Tan Co. I have tanned in many local salons and I expect it to be CLEAN, I have not been disappointed. I get free child care while I tan, where else can I get that? The employees have taken the time to know me and I am greeted each time I go in. The price is right, it's clean and I get free child care. I vote thumbs up for this company.

Provided by YP.comNice beds but not enough of the higher level beds. Expect to wait at least 10-15 minutes EVERY TIME you go if you want a level 3, 4 or 5. I have tried going at different times during the day to find a time I don't have to wait. It's the same at 2:00 as it is 8:45 at night. They have too many lower level beds and need to invest in the beds that are more popular. Once I've used all my "bank" there I will be checking into another company. I don't have time for tanning to turn into a 40 minute ordeal.

Provided by YPmobileDo NOT give them your credit card or you may end up having to dispute charges. I was charged several months before I realized it, asked for my contract and it was marked on and different from what I was verbally told-Melody the manager is pushy and did not want to talk to me about it and I was also told I had to drive an hour to their facility to cancel (but when I asked why they didn't make me because there was nothing in their contract that would require that. I also used the mystic tan a month w/no results and was told it wasn't working later.
I want to let everyone know that at the Tan Company we strive to give the best customer service and knowledge. We are the only Tanning salon in the area that actually teaches you how to tan. By us offering our specials, to help you save money, and lotions is only to make sure you are taking care of your skin and getting the best results. In response to Walker33, this review is inaccurate. This customer signed a month to month billing agreement and it clearly states we need something in writing to cancel for the customers protection. This was not done and the customer had not contacted us in 3 months. As a courtesy to help, since a refund is not an option, I cancelled and gave 3 months free without payment along with waiving a large past due balance. I am always willing to help and make sure everyone is happy on both ends. But sadly, what I did was not enough for this customer.

Provided by YP.comThe beds at the tan company are nice, but I HATE going in there. Every time I go in there I have to listen to a high pressue sales pitch about why I need to upgrade to a different bed, buy a promotional package, or buy lotion. I just want to be left alone to relax and enjoy my tanning expereince. I actually dread going in there though. Once my package is gone I will definetely be going back to Body FX!! The staff is much more friendly and they dont bother you!!

Provided by YP.comI've tried the mystic tan at both locations. I went to Battlefield first and ended up streaked. I then tried the North location on Glenstone. When I told them about my experience at the South location, they said that people had had problems at the South location but that their mystic was better. They had a deal for the second tan priced one dollar more than the first so I paid for two mystic tans. I waited 24 hours after getting the mystic tan before working out. When I was finished, all of the product had come off my face. When I went and complained, the girl acted like I was trying to get something extra. My face was pale but my arms were dark. She could see the proof. She said she would add an extra tan to my account but never did. The last time I went tanning, I ended up streaked again! I've given up on mystic and will accept the sun damage for a regular tan.

They are a bunch a teenage ditzy girls who no nothing about the beds or about their packages!!!
Terrible experience and would not recommend to anyone!
