This review is not for Sunoco but rather the service station lcoated there. I used to take my car only to the dealership (Sheehy) but after failing inspection a receiving a $1000+ quote, I figured it was time for a second opinion. I gave Halls Corner Automotive a shot because it's located right off the parkway and I normally get my gas from there anyways. I did the inspection again at Halls, it turns out that Sheehy failed my car for things that weren't actually broken (tie rods and CV boot) and the inspector was very nice to show me on the car what did and did not need attention. Sheehy was correct in failing me for brakes but Halls offered me a much better price on the work, saved me over $150 compared to the dealer. So now I take all of my cars to Halls for everything (oil changes, inspections, check engine lights, etc.), they only recommend what truly needs to be done; unlike the dealership which always seemed to have a list of repairs for me no matter what my car was in for. And this place is also a God-send for flat tires, I pick up nails in my tires all of the time and the young man who fixes it always finished in 10 minutes, I don't even have to leave my car for the day. So if you've been taking your car to a dealership or some cheap place like Jiffy Lube (a friend of mine had an oil change done at Jiffy Lube but they forgot to put oil in the car!), you should let the guys at Halls Corner take care of your car, you'll be much happier.
