She really didn't answer for phone a lot of time, and when she finally got my call, she was asking me something about driving school lessons in china , because she thought iam a Chinese, and i told her im not from China, and i already had some lessons in U.S, and then she said "I dont have time to teach you and i gotta leave now." I dont know that was real or she really doesn't like asians.

I have tried multiple times to contact and enroll in this school. There have been scheduling conflicts, which are unfortunate, but are not the reason for this review — What have been really upsetting are the exchanges I’ve had with the owner. The first time I tried to enroll, she put me on the wait list and after months without contact called while I was at dinner, on vacation. It was a completely inappropriate time for me to try to schedule classes, so I asked her to call back and she seemed angry about it but agreed. She never called. I tried to enroll a second time the next summer, and she opened the conversation by derisively asking why I hadn’t learned to drive yet (?). I had a bad feeling but asked her to call when I returned from vacation anyway, and she didn't, so I finally called her. She returned my call to tell me that she couldn't enroll me and it was my fault because I should have re-confirmed the date I was getting home (a date I had already provided her with). Each exchange has been confrontational, unprofessional, and evidence that the owner would rather attack her clients than own her mistakes (even a mistake as small as forgetting to call). Her attitude and accusatory hostility have made me frightened of learning from her. Unfortunately hers is the only school like it in State College, so I’ve only given up because the scheduling is untenable. If you can, I would consider turning to friends or family instead. Maybe even community ed teachers would be more pleasant.
