St. Peter Middle School, a part of the Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools, serves students in grades six through eight. Established in 1987, the school s curriculum, activities and special programs are focused towards the academic needs of students leaving childhood and entering adolescence. Its curriculum includes reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and health and physical education. St. Peter Middle School also offers classes in foreign languages, technology, computer education and physical education. It utilizes assessment tools to determine the academic level of each individual student. The school s library stocks a collection of textbooks, reference materials and encyclopedias.
