As a retired professional captain with 35 years of fishing experience in the Stuart, FL area, I recently had the pleasure of twice in the past month entertaining out-of-town visitors aboard the Safari 1 Deep Sea Fishing boat. Both times, I was totally impressed with the efficiency and demeanor of the crew and how well they served their clients. The crew was very knowledgable and went above and beyond to ensure they exceeded everyones expectations. Their professionalism, local knowledge and ability to compensate depending on their clients experience level made these trips memorable whether catching fish or not. I would definitely recommend this charter to anyone looking for a reasonably priced fishing and wildlife experience! I've known Captain Rocky for over 20 years and consider him tops in his field. My husband and I decided to take our son out for his birthday and also to find a local fishing boat that we can be regulars on but this trip was terrible. We paid and were assigned seats at the back of the boat where we were told fishing was the best but before we came to a full stop the regulars ran to the back, I asked about the assigned seating and was told that it wasn't really assigned seating. The captain parked the boat with the reef at the rear and so they were the only ones catching!! The mate spent the day drinking beer and fishing with his buddies using better bait and hogging the rear of the boat. My husband had to keep walking to the back for more bait which is the mates job!! I am disgusted!! I have been on many charters and never had an experience like this.

I fished the Safari 1 about a month ago, what a great trip! I had no rod or reel and the boat lent me one to use. I learned to bait my hook and even caught some fish. What a great trip! I found the Captain and crew to be helpful, professional and friendly. I'm so glad my children took me on this boat with them. Can't wait to come to Florida and fish on the Safari 1 again!!

Best fishing on a party boat for the treasure coast! I have been fishing here for 5 years! Groupers, mahi, snapper, kingfish oh my! i have never had a bad trip! they crew is always helpful and professional. If you can hold a rod and follow directions, you will catch fish! I will always fish the Safari and recommend it! The Lady Stuart is a terrible option! the try to follow the Safari Boat around all day and the seem to move every 30 minutes! how do you bring in the big fish that way?!?!?!?!?

Looking for a day of Fun, Sun and lots of Fish? Then the Safari 1 out of Pirates Cove Resort is the boat for you! The crew was very supportive, not only of the experienced fisherman, but also for those out there for their first time. Patient with the kids, kind and considerate to everyone. There was never a lull in the action, it was easy to see why they’ve been recognized as the best head/party boat in the area. The ocean was too rough on this day, but we fished just inside the inlet. There were 9 total people fishing on board. The five of us caught about 20 fish and the boat totaled around 50 fish!



Took the wife and kids out plus her sister and everybody caught fish!

As luck would have it, two the anglers on the Safari 1 were at the right place at the right time. They managed to catch the 2nd and 3rd place fish in the KING category. One angler on the Safari was in hunt with a grouper until near the end of the weight-in. At the last minute another party showed up with a 45 lb Warsaw Grouper.

A fun time was had by all, way to go Safari 1 anglers.
