Unfriendly tech. Made several shockingly rude comments including calling me "retarded". I guess if you don't mind feeling humiliated this is the place to go.

I just got my nails done here today and they look horrible. I will never go back here again. Although they were nice, I'm not paying for hospitality I'm paying for a good nail service and after paying 110 dollars it could have been better

Yesterday I left with two bloody cuticles - the tech talked the whole time about her family problems, etc. My fingers are so sore today I am having to soak them in epsom salts. The Salon is not clean - small nail dryers are covered in grime, tables are loaded with spills and grime, my tech had dirt under her fingernails. Splash marks on the wall behind the table. I had an acrylic fill - 6 nails already bare because the acrylic had lifted and popped clean off from the fill 10 days before. All the tech had to do was just fill - no tips. She ended up charging me for a whole new set - $25.00. The techs are very loud as they talk and gossip non stop. This was not a pampering, relaxing experience. It was painful, expensive and nerve wracking. I've had enough - after going through this about 5 times I will never, ever go back. There are many more and better salons around.

I went on Saturday for a mani/pedi. Pedicure is ok..so far so good. Manicure is the worst one I've ever had and I get manicures often. During the manicure he injured the cuticles on both of my thumbs causing them to bleed. 4 days later they are still tender. Also after just 1 day the nail polish started peeling off in sheets off each nail. By the 3rd day all polish is gone which to me is unacceptable. I paid a lot of money, and even more to have the French polish. My manicures usually last AT LEAST a week. Needless to say I will NOT be returning to Tip Toes and I will not be recommending them to any friends looking for nail services.

This is the best salon around. I have never had a better pedicure. The salon is clean and inviting. I never write reviews but love this place so much, I thought I would share. If you want a manicure and pedicure that lasts, looks amazing, and is a relaxing experience, this is the only place to go in the entire Charleston area.

I love this salon. I had previous went somewhere else and had a bad experince with my nails lasting. At Tip Toes I had my gell set is lasting more than 3 weeks with no problems of lifting or any breakage. The salon is very clean and the staff is very nice. I'd recommend them to everyone.
