Dr. Mandel is certified by the American College of Surgeons. He specializes in diseases of the breast and abdominal cavity. Roughly half of his practice involves cancer surgery. Dr. Mandel does all of his surgery at Overlook Hospital where the safest environment is provided. He utilizes both minimally invasive and traditional methods in performing surgery. He keeps cosmetics in mind whenever feasible, and if necessary, will involve plastic surgeons to meet that end. The office staff is a group of highly competent individuals who are warm and professional. Together with Dr. Mandel, they are truly part of the team and they are there to guide you through your patient procedures every step of the way, both pre and postoperatively.
