As one of few double-fellowship trained spine surgeons in Arizona who has trained with both world renown neurosurgeons and orthopedic spine surgeons, I enjoy being able to offer the latest in minimally invasive and motion preservation techniques to my patients. Importantly, having published over 60 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, I know when and how to apply the latest science to spine care. I fully understand that “latest” or “new” doesn’t always mean effective. Finally, from chiropractic school to spine surgeon, I take a very holistic and conservative approach to spine surgical care. I treat every patient as a family member and always view surgery as a last resort.
