Calhoun Community College, located in Tanner, Ala., is one of the leading two-year institutions in The Alabama College System. It is an open-admission, community-based, state-supported, co-educational, comprehensive community college. It offers more than 40 associate degree and over 50 career and certificate programs. Calhoun Community College serves more than 9,000 students at its various campuses, including Decatur and Huntsville Cummings Research Park in Alabama. The college s campuses also include Redstone Arsenal and Limestone Correctional Facility in Alabama. Founded more than 50 years ago, it has trained faculty and staff, including more than 300 full-time employees.
