Heather Allred is a board-certified Physician Assistant. She attended USU where she completed her undergraduate degree in Pre-Physical therapy with minors in Chemistry and Biology. She went on to complete a Masters degree in Cardiac Rehabilitation. She received her second Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Utah. She has been practicing as a Physician Assistant for over 17 years, 13 of those years, working in Dermatology. Heather appreciates the opportunity she has to care for patient. She enjoys educating about the largest organ of the body, the skin, and how it connects to so many other aspects of one’s health. Heather had the unique opportunity to grow up in Guatemala. She often spent her summers in Cache Valley during her childhood, making it her second home during that time, and again for the past 13 years. Heather was able to live out of the United Sates once more, after going to USU, while serving a mission in Uruguay for her church. When not looking at people’s skin, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and three children outdoors; skiing, canyoneering, camping and hiking. One of Heather’s passions is competing in triathlons. She hopes to compete in a full ironman one day, without it almost killing her!
