We spent 4 nights at this RV resort near Temecula, CA. The weather was lovely during our stay in March, however I'm sure the temperatures soar during the summer months. My favorite part of this resort was that the campsites were not the typical "parking lot" sites of most parks with full hook-ups. Here it felt like you were truly camping, although you had the convenience of hook-ups as well. We happened to be in a particularly nice spot with a gorgeous view. I did not visit the bathroom facilities, but my husband mentioned they were nothing to "write home about". Across the canyon you could see poppies and other wildflowers blooming. It was a short hike to find ourselves amidst tons of flowers. Our mornings were spent hiking and the afternoons we visited a few wineries. I would suggest weekday winery visits unless you enjoy crowds of people. Old Town Temecula was also one of our stops which we thoroughly enjoyed. Evening campfires with the sound of frogs from the nearby creek created a lasting memory.
