Our 12yo daughter received two separate groupons as a gift for she and a friend so we took them. The owner is so incredibly rude. We had never been here before and when we walked in she seemed annoyed that she had to help us. The process took forever! My husband and I sat with the girls while they painted and the owner told us, "oh you could have dropped them off." When we went back for the second groupon she gave me a hard time about using it because we just had used one the month prior, she finally agreed to letting me use it. This time I dropped the girls off. The owner treated them like 5 year olds the whole time, to the point where they rushed through their painting just so they could leave. When I got there to pick them up I had to pay $6 for an upgraded piece they painted and the owner made a snotty comment to me about how $6 is cheap for babysitting. Um.. Excuse me?. We will not be returning. I dreaded even going back to pick up their pottery!!!!! So rude and not even necessary

My wife and I visited about a month ago, and decided that we wanted to paint stoneware mugs. I was very excited when I found the groupon, and after several weeks we finally had an evening free! We had previously been told that the stoneware mugs were the same price, however apparently the groupon is only for "bisques." Since we had already spent $25 on the groupon, I figured that we might as well spend another $25 and get what we wanted - a mug each. Per the groupon policy (Facebook won't allow me to post the direct link, however its found on the groupon site under the "groupon-promise"), "Local:

Your voucher may always be redeemed at the merchant who issued it for at least the amount you paid for it – even if the promotional value has expired. " So, we wanted to use the $25 towards one mug and purchase another. The owner, I believe her name is Sandy, outright refused. I pulled up the policy on my phone and showed it to her. She stated "that's not how it works" and "I only get $6 for ever groupon, so I'm not giving you $25." Even after being shown the policies in writing, she was insistent that she would not honor the policies. I should also note that I was there with my 6-month-pregnant wife. Our date night ruined, we left rather frustrated, especially at the lack of any customer service or the willingness to listen to reason. I can't stress enough how much I tried to explain, and even show the owner (in writing, from Groupon), the policies she had agreed to; however, it appeared that she was set in her ways, and what she believed to be the groupon policies, and was not listening to anything I had to say. I only wish that we could rate this business a zero star, as I now have to wait for Groupon to follow up in order to receive a credit, which will take up to another 10 business days.
