The Public Works Department is governed by the city of Tolleson in Arizona. The department is responsible for the development and maintenance of the city s infrastructure. Its fleet services department maintenance and repairs vehicles for the fire, police, street and various other city departments. The department also maintains the water, sanitation and wastewater treatment systems in the city. It is also a member of the Valley Wide Recycling Program, a program that offers solid waste management services throughout Arizona. In addition, the department offers a storm water pollution prevention program. The Public Works Department provides a variety of solid waste management services, including weekly and biweekly residential bulk and trash collection.
