Doctors Laboratory is a pathologist-directed organization in the practice of clinical and anatomical pathology. Included in the professional staff are board-certified anatomical, clinical, dermato- and hematopathologists, clinical laboratory specialists and scientists, clinical laboratory technicians and phlebotomists. The laboratory is licensed to participate in interstate commerce by the Centers for Disease Control and the Department of Health and Human Services. Doctors Laboratory subscribes to proficiency testing programs through the College of American Pathologists, the American Association of Bio-analysts, Abbott Corporation and the Centers of Disease Control. Accredited by the College of American Pathologists, the laboratory is SAMHSA certified and licensed by the State of Florida for toxicology. Doctors Laboratory was founded in 1965.
