The sampler appetizer was good, but everything was fried with a thick batter/tortilla and tasted the same. The churrasco (rolled steak) was tough. The menu said it came with a side (we chose trifongo), but we were surprised when we got charged extra for it. They also charge for the mayo ketchup that comes with the appetizer. And they tack on a mandatory 18% tip, even though there is no entertainment at lunch. Unbelievably they suggest a 2%-7% additional tip. Really? We used a $30 Local Flavor certificate, but the manager insisted we had to purchase a minimum of $50 to use it. No such requirement on the certificate. Our server was attentive, the food was ok, but there were so many money issues that we won't be back.
