Established in 1890, Washington State University Vancouver is a nonresidential academic institute. Based in Vancouver, Wash., the university offers 18 bachelor's degrees, 10 master's degrees, one doctorate degree and more than 37 fields of study. Its library has more than 9,000 full-text online journals and newspapers and access to more than 100 major bibliographic database. Additionally, the university offers a series of preschool and kindergarten programs. Its laboratories include student computer stations, computer-aided drafting, group instruction and a writing center.
